Jackson Christian Preschool at Campbell Street offers enriching early childhood education for children ages 18 months to 5 years, providing a strong academic, spiritual, and behavioral foundation during these vital formative years.
Led by dedicated, experienced teachers, our preschool program is grounded in genuine love and care for each child. With expertise in early childhood education, our staff creates a positive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Starting with our 18-month-olds, we follow a building-block approach that prioritizes developmental consistency. Children begin building fine motor and listening skills, engaging with books, learning to rhyme, and developing early letter and number recognition. As they grow, students advance through a curriculum designed to prepare them for elementary success:

Spiritual Formation
Spiritual growth is a key component of our preschool program. Daily Bible classes, chapel, prayer, and character education help instill Christian values. Teachers integrate spiritual lessons throughout the day, using real-life moments to teach faith, kindness, and empathy. Through community service projects, students also begin to understand the importance of serving others.
Play & Exploration
Recognizing the importance of movement and play in early childhood, our campus—located inside the Campbell Street Church of Christ building at 1490 Campbell Street—includes a secure outdoor playground and a spacious indoor gymnasium. These spaces promote physical development, social interaction, and joyful learning.

Jackson Christian Preschool is licensed by the Tenn. Department of Education and is closed on major holidays.
Ages & Stages Curriculum
All classes offer 5-day, 3-day, and 2-day-a-week enrollment options, although priority goes to students enrolling in 5-days per week. Each student is provided with two snacks and juice each day. Students are required to bring their lunch each day. Milk is provided with lunch. All classes participate in Bible class and/or chapel time daily.
