Affected families pose for St. Jude Trike a Thon

Jackson Christian Elementary and Early Learning Village hosted their third annual Trike-A-Thon and Fun Walk/Run on Monday, May 19.

Students six-weeks-old to fifth grade participated in raising money and awareness for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The highest earner in each class earned the opportunity to "pie" a teacher in the face.

Student families raised over $23,000 for families receiving care at St. Jude, $7,000 more dollars than previous years.

“We have lots of kids here who have gone through St. Jude. We actually have one close to home that we lost last year, so this really touches our heart every year,” said ELV Director Mary Ramey.
