Jackson Christian Director of K–12 Academics Earns Doctorate from Middle Tennessee State University

Jackson Christian School congratulates Dr. Kendall Naceanceno, Director of K–12 Academics, on successfully defending his dissertation and earning his Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree from Middle Tennessee State University.

Dr. Naceanceno’s dissertation, titled “Examining the Impact of Integrating Standards-Based Grading Principles into Traditional Grading Methods on Student Achievement,” explores innovative approaches to grading that promote student learning and achievement.

“We are incredibly proud of Dr. Naceanceno’s hard work and dedication,” said President Billy Lones. “His commitment to academic excellence and his research in the field of education will continue to strengthen the academic foundation of Jackson Christian.”

Dr. Naceanceno has served as Director of K–12 Academics at Jackson Christian since 2022, where he leads curriculum development, instructional innovation, and faculty support across all grade levels.
