All Students:

• MOTHERS' CLUB BAKE SALE - The school-wide Spring Bake Sale, sponsored by the JCS Mothers' Club is Friday, March 19, during all lunches. If you would like to help with this event, please contact Gina Lee at leecpa@bellsouth.net for the elementary bake sale. For the middle/high school bake sales, please contact Kelly Van den Bosch at kptvan@charter.net. As always, all items are 50 cents. Thanks so very much for your continued support and willingness to help out!!!

• SPRING CONSIGNMENT SALE - It's time to make plans for the JCS Spring Consignment Sale!  This year's sale will begin on March 27.  Click here for the updated Consignment Sale Handbook and Volunteer Sign-Up list.  REMEMBER -- the deadline for requesting cards and activating your number is Friday, March 19, at 3:30 p.m. If you plan to consign this season, you will need to call 668-8055 ext. 152 or email aallen@jcseagles.org to participate.

Elementary:

• NWEA TESTING - NWEA testing will take place April 26 through May 11.
• SHILOH FIELD TRIP - The fifth grade field trip to Shiloh is May 6th.

Secondary:

• SOCCER JAMBOREE T-SHIRTS - If you would like to purchase a t-shirt from the boys' soccer jamboree, there are some in the high school office. The cost is $6.00 for short sleeve and $8.00 for long sleeve.
• SERVICE OPPORTUNITY - There is information in the high school office for a service project opportunity involving volunteering at the NAIA tournament.
• VARSITY CHEERLEADING - A parent/student meeting will be held on Monday, March 15, at 5:00 p.m., for anyone interested in trying out for Varsity Coed Cheerleading.  Tryouts for the 2010-2011 school year will be held on Saturday, March 20, in the Coffman Gym. The clinic for tryouts will be held from 9:00 a.m.-12 noon. Tryouts will begin at 1:00 p.m.
• BOYS' AND GIRLS' STATE - Juniors that are interested in applying for Boys' or Girls' State can pick up an application in the high school office or print one off Mrs. Bradford's web page. The applications are due March 15.
• JUNIOR VOLUNTEER PROGRAM - The junior volunteer packets for Jackson-Madison County General Hospital are available in the high school office. You must be between the ages of 14 and 18. A 250-word essay is required. The deadline to apply is March 15.
• COLOR GUARD TRYOUTS - Auditions for the 2010 Eagle Marching Band Color Guard will be Friday, March 26. There will be a clinic for anyone wishing to audition. The clinic will be held from 3:30-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, March 15-26. Auditions will be held at the end of the clinic. Please see Mr. Holtin or any member of the JCS Eagle Marching Band or Color Guard for details.
• MIDDLE SCHOOL CHEERLEADERS -  MS cheerleading tryouts for the 2010-2011 school year will be held on Friday, March 19, at 3:30 p.m. in Coffman Gym. The clinic for tryouts will be held on Thursday, March 18, from 3:15-6:00.
• COLLEGE FAIR - There will be a college fair on March 25 in the cafeteria for our juniors. All juniors will come to the cafeteria from 9:45 - 10:15.  The following colleges will be on campus: UTM, UTK, UTC, MTSU, JSCC, Lane, University of Memphis, Bethel, Murray State, FHU, Union, Lambuth, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, David Lipscomb, and University of Alabama.
• ST. JUDE TRIP - The St. Jude trip for juniors and seniors who raised at least $30 for the Math-A-Thon will be on April 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
