- Applicants must have a good conduct record. Students who have been suspended or expelled from other schools during the semester prior to enrolling will generally not be
considered for admission at JCS.
- Historically, students at Jackson Christian School score significantly higher than the 50th percentile on standardized tests. Therefore, new applicants should have standardized
test scores above the 50th percentile.
- Kindergarten applicants must be five-years-old on or before September 30th.
- Elementary and Middle School students will generally not be considered for admission at JCS if they are being retained at the current grade level by their former school.
- Applicants and parents must agree to support the policies of JCS, and a financial agreement must be completed and signed.
- The application for admission must be completed and accompanied by the application fee before
the entrance exam or interview is scheduled with the appropriate principal.
- Entrance exams are required for all students entering grades K-2. Entrance exams for students entering grades 3-12 may be required by the appropriate principal prior to any final
determination of the student's application status.
- Principal interviews for grades 3 - 12 will not be scheduled until the student provides a copy of their
most recent grade report and their most recent standardized test scores.
- Applicants are not considered activated until the application and application fee, deposit, financial agreement, copy of grades and standardized test scores, interview with the
principal, entrance exam (if required), tuition payments (as per payment scheduled), and any other prepay fees have been completed.
- Students may be refused re-admission at the end of the second semester if a "C" average is not attained or if an "F" is made in Bible as a final grade.
- Admission criteria must be maintained from the time of acceptance until the school year begins.
- After the re-enrollment period for current families has
ended, spaces will be filled from new applicants in the
waiting pool who have completed the application process.
