Spelling: Be working on Charlotte's Web spelling words for the week.  I have given you the spelling for the week on the links below.
Reading: Charlotte's Web Ch.1-4  If you want to read ahead that will be fine.  You could ask some comprehension questions, but you shouldn't have to worry too much about that.  You can be working on the vocabulary words.   I have given you all the vocabulary for the week on the links below.           
English: We will be reviewing skills and using Charlotte's Web as our guide.

Please be practicing on math facts.  We have got to get where we know these without using our fingers to count.

Reminders and Notices:

If a student needs to be out of school for personal days they must have it pre-approved at least 3 days in advance by Mrs. Crabtree.  Otherwise the absence will count as unexcused and will result in zeros.

JCS has teamed up with Nicaragua Christian School.  Each grade on the responsibility of sponsoring a child.  Second grade will be sponsoring Roberto.  The cost to send him to school for one year is $300.00.  We have a coin can in our room that we can drop any change or bills in.  I would like for the students to feel like they are truly a part of this.  If you find any change at home, please encourage your child to bring it to school and drop it in our can.
