Mission of JCS
Homework: Thursday: There are two Math sheets tonight. Be reviewing for the Reading test tomorrow. Practice over the vocabulary words and review what the subject and predicate are.
Notes
from the teacher
Don't forget about IXL. I will pull the report up on Fridays during our activity time. The report I am running is from Friday thru Thursday. The report will tell me how many problems your child worked on and how long your child worked on IXL. The great thing about this report is that it will show me the exact questions that your child saw and at what time they saw this problem. This will help me to know where their weaknesses and strengths are.
*** Please make sure your
child is wearing their tennis shoes for P.E. on Monday and
Friday.

If a student needs to be out of school for personal days they must have it pre-approved at least 3 days in advance by Mrs. Crabtree. Otherwise the absence will count as unexcused and will result in zeros. JCS has teamed up with Nicaragua Christian School. Each grade on the responsibility of sponsoring a child. Second grade will be sponsoring Roberto. The cost to send him to school for one year is $300.00. We have a coin can in our room that we can drop any change or bills in. I would like for the students to feel like they are truly a part of this. If you find any change at home, please encourage your child to bring it to school and drop it in our can.
