Conceived in 1976 by a number of concerned Christians, Jackson Christian School began with 56 students in grades 2-8.
In 1979, the school moved to its present location, a beautiful and spacious 28-acre campus on Country Club Lane. In August of 2008, the JCS school year began with a record enrollment of 1,015 students in preschool through 12th grade.
Though faculty members are expected to place membership and take an active part in an area congregation of the church of Christ, enrollment at JCS is open to families of all religious backgrounds. Approximately 60% of our families are from affiliations other than the church of Christ. The common denominator of all our families is a special desire for a quality education in a Christian environment.
