Our History

Conceived in 1976 by a number of concerned Christians, Jackson Christian School began with 56 students in the Central church of Christ building and included grades 1-8.

In 1979,  the school moved to its present location, a beautiful and spacious 28-acre campus on Country Club Lane.

Although created and overseen by members of the church of Christ, the school is open to families of all religious backgrounds. Approximately 60% of our families are from affiliations other than the church of Christ. The common denominator of all our families is a special desire for a quality education in a Christian environment.

While enrollment has increased since our establishment, the growth patterns for the past several years have been phenomenal. However, we have met the challenge while maintaining excellent student/teacher ratios.
