Congratulations to the 2008-2009 Varsity Coed Squad! 



Congratulations to the Varsity squad for their 6th place finish at the UCA National Competition in Orlando, Florida in February.

The Varsity Coed Cheerleaders won Camp Champ at the University of Tennessee Elite Cheer Camp,  June 24 - 27th.

JCS has become well known in the Jackson area both for being nationally ranked for the past 6 years and for the number of cheerleaders who move on to cheer at colleges, 7 of whom went to Division I schools including the University of Tennessee and the University of Memphis.
Coach Lauryn Turner is assisted by choreographers Kenya Hill and Chad Odle both from Memphis. Kenya has won 26 National Championships and is the coach for Houston High School and St. Benedict High School.  Chad Odle coaches the University of Memphis Competitive cheer squads and Memphis Elite, and has won 8 National Championships. Adam Biddick (not pictured), is the tumbling instructor for JCS and is also of Memphis Elite.
