Sixth graders, We are off to a fantastic start!! You are doing a great job adjusting to Middle School!! I am so proud of you! Keep up the great work! Mrs. Alice Dahlstrom
UPCOMING EVENTS: Labor Day Holiday - No school on Monday, Sept. 1; No school for students on Tuesday, Sept. 2 (This is an in-service day for faculty.)
Textbooks: Each textbook must be covered. You may cover the books with cloth book covers or paper covers. The cloth book covers must be JUMBO size if you are purchasing one of this type. Brown paper bags or sturdy wrapping paper are also good options. No sticky adhesive material or tape may be used on the books. When taping the paper book covers, you will need to fold the cover so that you can tape the cover to another part of the cover instead of taping it to the book itself. Also I will be sending home information about our on-line textbook very soon. Grade
Sheets:
After the first week or so of school as students begin to get grades in
Math, I will begin sending out grade sheets to the parents. Grade sheets will be sent home each week. The students figure the
grade, and they may double check their figures with RenWeb. The grade
sheet must be signed and returned on the day following the evening that it was
sent home. Two bonus points will be
given if the grade sheet is figured correctly and signed by a parent and
returned on time.
ASSIGNMENTS: Please go to RenWeb to find the daily assignments. Just click on "Classrooms" and then "Homework Summary". |
