Each student in Grades 6-12 is required to have an iPad as part of their school supplies.
21st Century Digital Learning Initiative:
The Jackson Christian School 21st Century Digital Learning Initiative is a 1:1 program designed to equip our teachers with cutting-edge instructional technology, training, and engaging tools to help them prepare and train our students for exemplary lives of Christian leadership and service in the 21st Century.
This 4-year implementation plan is currently underway, improving and expanding our campus technology infrastructure. We’ve added new instructional technology in every classroom, equipping all of our teachers with an iPad 2 or 3 with ongoing faculty training. We are equipping and training our students with iPads, expanding and upgrading campus computer labs and libraries, and completely transitioning to electronic textbooks by 2014.
